10 Things to Look Forward to Now That You’ve Booked Your Vacation

I don’t know about you, but the days, weeks and months leading up to a vacation are some of the best and the worst of the year.

On one hand, there are so many incredible things to anticipate and look forward to, but on the other hand, I’m like — “Can we just leave for the beach now?” So, in order to fight the pre-vacation blues, I like to know exactly what I have to look forward to — it leads to better day-dreaming, trust me.

So, now that you’ve booked your vacation and are literally counting down the days until you’ll be relaxing on the beach, here’s your resort bucket list you have to look forward to.

You’re welcome.

10 Things to Look Forward to Now That You’ve Booked an All Inclusive Vacation

1. Relaxation

Honestly, you don’t truly know the meaning of relaxation until you’ve experienced an All Inclusive.

Not only do you have access to some of the world’s finest beaches and pools, but you have people who are willing to cater to your every beck and call.

Whether you’re looking forward to lying on the beach with a drink in your hand, playing at the pool with your kids or participating in the activities offered by your resort’s planning experts, your version of relaxation is right around the corner.

Bucket list for relaxation: Lay under a cabana.

2. Booze

Have you ever dreamed about ordering drinks without having to keep an eye on the tab? If so, this is your time to shine.

Not only do the bars offer premium alcohol and expert bartender services, but most resorts also include a fully stocked mini bar with a variety of liquor, beer and non-alcoholic drink options.

So, even if you’re not a big drinker, it’s nice to know that you can have access to as much Diet Coke as you require to survive.

Bucket list for booze: Order a new / different drink each time.

3. Beach and Pool Service

On that note, you can also order drinks and have them brought to you while lying on the beach or by the pool.

So go ahead, order that fifth, sixth or seventh margarita — no one’s counting.

Bucket list for beach and pool service: Definitely embrace this, daily.

4. Food, Food and More Food

That’s right, you have unlimited access to all the food you can bare to eat — and you should eat it all.

Each resort offers a unique variety of exquisite dining options. From buffets, to beachside grills, to sit-down restaurants, your pallet has never been so pampered.

Bucket list for food: Dress up one night for dinner or surprise your significant other with a “romantic dinner on the beach”.

5. Room Service

Remember when you were a kid and all you wanted to do was order off the room service menu? Well, now you can!

At no extra charge, most resorts will bring any dish you desire right to your room.

Bucket list for room service: Wake up early one morning to surprise everyone with breakfast in bed.

6. Spa Services

So, after you’re done relaxing on the beach for the day, go ahead and book a premium massage, pedicure or facial for another dose of “ahhh.”

In order to book your premium spa experience, just dial the concierge and let them do the work for you.

Bucket list for the spa: Splurge on yourself this time. You’re worth it.

7. Water Activities

Ever dreamed of sailing out into the ocean blue? Well, included in most resort packages, comes a variety of exciting water sport opportunities. Not only can you sail on an easy-to-use catamaran, but you can also kayak, snorkel or stand-up paddle board.

If you’re looking for something a little more adrenaline-fueled like jet skiing, you can do that too! You may just have to pay a small fee.

Bucket list for water activities: See what complimentary activities your resort has and try them out one afternoon.

8. Luxurious Bedding

Get excited to not make your bed during your vacation time. I don’t know about you, but my favorite thing about traveling is that comfy hotel bedding. After a long day of hanging out by the beach, exploring a city or hiking a mountain, look forward to crashing in a room with a comfy bed, big windows and stunning aesthetics.

Bucket list for bedding: Wear the slippers and robe.

9. Entertainment

Entertainment can range from tranquil sunrise yoga…

…to an epic foam party! Your resort staff lives to make your stay as enjoyable and fun as possible. You may have chosen a resort that prides itself in tranquility — if so, there will always be helpful staff to be there for you in whatever you need. If no activities is your thing, you’re in-luck because you’re headed to the beach.

Bucket list for entertainment: Join in on a spontaneous workout class on the beach or communal volleyball game.

10. Ideal Photo Opportunities

Don’t miss an opportunity to pose on the beach with your vacation partners-in-crime. After all, spending time together whether you’re out adventuring or soaking up every moment by the sea, is what you’re trip is all about.

Bucket list for photos: Take a beach selfie and send it our way! We love seeing photos of our guests.
