So, instead of waiting until you step foot onto the beach to enjoy that deliciousness, let’s get your vacation started now, shall we?

Below you will find a few of my all-time favorite resort-inspired drinks that you can make in your very own home.

3 Resort-Inspired Cocktails You Can Make in Your Very Own Home:

1. Margarita (Signature Cocktail of Mexico)

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup white tequila
  • 1 cup triple sec
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 lime
  • margarita salt
  • 2 cups ice

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into glass garnished with lime wedge.
  4. Enjoy!

 

2. Jamaican Smile (Signature Cocktail of Jamaica) 

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces coconut rum
  • 2 ounces rum cream
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1 1/2 ounce strawberry daiquiri mix
  • 1 1/2 ounce pina colada mix
  • 1/2 banana
  • 2 cups ice

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into glass garnished with strawberry.
  4. Enjoy!

 

3. Coco Loco (Signature Cocktail of the Dominican Republic) 

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounce rum
  • 1/2 ounce amaretto almond liqueur
  • 2 tablespoons creme of coconut
  • 1 teaspoon grenadine syrup
  • 1/2 ounce pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • pineapple wedge

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve with pineapple wedge.
  4. Enjoy!

 

If that doesn’t get you vacation-ready, nothing will.
