Snorkeling by far best adventured in Riviera Maya, whether it’s snorkeling with famous green sea-turtles at Secrets Akumal, or discovering cenote coves while staying at UNICO resorts.

Chichen Itza is one of the Seven Wonders of the world and you can explore this in one day while staying in Tulum or Playa del Carmen. (This excursion is also offered if you’re staying in Cancun or Rivieria Maya too). Pack 1,000 years of history into one day while you explore the Mayan ruins followed by a dip in a nearby natural pool of Ik Kil cenote.

Check out Dreams Tulum for a great place to stay if you’re interested in exploring in Cancun.

The Malecon boardwalk is perfect for a cultural stroll “off the beaten path” with pops of color on every shop, restaurant, and old statues and cathedrals. After you’ve toured the city, you can head south to visit the iconic Los Arcos – a beautiful rock formation just off the coast of Banderas Bay.

Stay at Secrets Puerto Vallarta to be surounded by both beach and mountains.

The Marina in Cabo begs to be explored and a small sailing tour is just the ticket to adventure and relaxation all-in-one. Some tours offer day sails to snorkel and watch whales in migratory season (December through March). You can also take multiple stops to sight-see areas on the Cabo coastline. Oh and don’t forget there’s an open bar while you’re sailing.

Resorts like Breathless Cabo San Lucas and Secrets Puerto Los Cabos are amazing places to stay in Cabo.

Buggy Ride through the jungles of Punta Cana – you’ll come clean and leave muddy head to toe – but it’s a blast! The Wild Tiger Buggy excursion lets you drive as fast or as slow as you want but you get to take an entire day to explore the back areas of Punta Cana, see locals, and learn how they make cigars and extract vanilla…cool native things like that.

It’s less than 30 minutes to get to this excursion if you stay at Breathless Punta Cana.

Costa Rica

One word: Zipline. If you’re looking for adrenaline in Costa Rica, nothing sounds more freeing than getting as high as humanly possible and then pretending to fly through the trees. You’ll get to explore the lush tropical landscape of Guanacaste while experiencing that butterfly feeling in your stomach.

Check out Dreams Las Mareas for a place to stay and zipline in Costa Rica.

Take a Catamaran Ride to Rick’s Cafe, one of Jamaica’s most famous hot spots located at the top of a 35-foot high cliff. Enjoy drinks and food and cliff jumping with an uninterrupted front row seat to a Jamaican sunset.

You can’t go wrong staying at any Couples Resorts in Jamaica.

Today gets an A+. (Well, minus the sub-zero degree bus ride back… that gets an F.)
