7 All-Inclusive Activities Perfect for When You’re Not Feeling the Beach

I’m one of those people who could sit on the beach for all eternity without getting bored.

I love the sound of the waves, I love the smell of the ocean, I love the feeling of sand on my skin and I love watching palm trees sway in the wind — for me, it’s euphoria.

But, even though I’m a self-proclaimed Beach Bum, it’s nice to change things up every once in a while.

Especially when I’m at an All-Inclusive resort for five to 10 days, I like to participate in activities that aren’t sitting under a cabana with a mojito.

And, contradictory to what I originally thought, there are a lot of All-Inclusive activities that take place away from the ocean’s shore. So, whether you prefer swimming at the pool, playing a game of tennis or relaxing at the spa, we’ve got you covered.

You’re welcome.

7 All-Inclusive Activities Perfect for When You’re Not Feeling the Beach:

1. Pool

If you’re tired of finding sand in your swimsuit and salt in your hair, the pool is a perfect alternative. There, you’ll have all the amenities of the beach — water, drinks, sun — without the annoyance of nature.

I can get used to this… 💚💕

2. Spa

If you’re looking for a bit of relaxation and pampering, the spa is perfect for you.

3. Sports

Most All-Inclusive destinations offer access to tennis, basketball and, in some cases, golf.

4. Classes

On a daily basis, most All-Inclusive destinations offer a variety of classes ranging from towel folding, to bracelet making, to aerobics, to tequila tasting, to yoga, to reggae dancing.

These classes are fun, informative and usually take on the personality of whichever culture you’re visiting.

5. Excursions

Each All-Inclusive resort has a unique list of excursions. Though they come at an extra cost, each excursion will provide you with an immersive experience in or around the resort.

In my humble opinion, it’s worth every penny.

6. Bar

There’s always the bar. Whether you prefer a swim-up bar, a lobby bar or a mini bar, your All-Inclusive has you covered.

7. Food

And, there’s always food. From buffets, to room service, to a la cart restaurants, take your pick.
