How I feel right now having to re-live my recent trip to cancun when in reality i’m sitting at a desk…
I’m a big fan of all things Secrets resorts, so i’m happy to share my favorite things about my stay at Secrets the vine. I just wish I was still there!
Check out the best parts (IMO):
Taking spot #1 in my favorite things about Secrets The Vine was the amount of VIEWS around the resort! The color of the water is indescribable, especially paired right next to the bright blue sky! These photos I took are great, but imagine it 10x even prettier, and that’s how it is in reality. I spent so much of my time just lounging and taking it all in.
One of the best piña coladas I’ve ever had!
Our balcony was the best spot to hang out.
Obviously, had to take advantage of this perfect photo-op.
This is the view from the infinity pool on the 12th floor.
Only Preferred guests have access, so it’s definitely worth it to stay Preferred at this resort!
Having switched to a plant-based diet recently, I always get nervous about the amount of options that may or may not be available to me when traveling somewhere. Luckily, this hasn’t been an issue at any of the last few all-inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at — especially at Secrets The Vine!
The “Market Cafe” buffet was the perfect go-to for any meal. It always had lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I mean…just look at these desserts. They were so adorable, I could barely bring myself to eat them. EDIBLE GLITTER, you guys.
The pizza on the bottom right was one of my favorite things I had during my stay! It had grapes, pear, walnuts and gorgonzola cheese.
Another meal from the Market Cafe.
The Vine is very unique compared to the other Secrets properties, mostly due to it’s location and architecture. The resort is right alongside the rest of the hotels in Cancun’s well-known “hotel zone,” giving it more of an energetic and upbeat feel than the other Secrets resorts. The hotel is built as a high-rise, which is also not typical of Secrets hotels, but is probably why The Vine features AMAZING views from pretty much any spot on the property!
Notice the vines on the exterior of the building?
This was my favorite lounge area!
I love when a hotel room is so cozy that you almost don’t feel the need to leave during your stay! That was our experience at The Vine and it was mostly due to the balcony. Our room was a Preferred Club Deluxe Junior Suite on the 12th floor — I highly recommend!
The color scheme was definitely giving me ocean-vibes.
Don’t even get me started on the room service experience.
No. Words. Definitely the highlight of my trip!
To the right of us was the Presidential Suite.
Although the entire experience at an all-inclusive can feel like a “spa treatment,” it’s totally worth it to schedule something at the spa during your stay! I usually just go for the simple 25-minute Neck, Shoulder, Back massage and it gets the job done. Aside from the actual treatment itself, it’s worth it just to do the hydro-therapy available prior to your appointment.
Views from the jacuzzi before my massage.
I could fall asleep just LOOKING at this photo. (In a good way!)
